Sephora sells four calendars this season, and they are two different things. The Favorites boxes are the retailer's edit of the brands it sells: the EU edition, fourteen full sizes from Merit, Tatcha, Gisou and Phlur at 169 EUR against 586, the best of them; the US 25 Days of Beauty Must Haves, twenty-five brands at 105 USD with only three full sizes, a sampler by design. The Sephora Collection boxes are own-label: twelve full sizes for 59.99 EUR, or seventeen with a sequinned vanity case for 99.99, neither with a printed list.

9 of the 12 here have 24 doors — a 24-door box opens one a day from 1 December to Christmas Eve. The others run 7 and 25, and the shorter ones start partway through the month: a 12-door box opens on 13 December.
