Four bands, computed from what the calendars actually cost rather than from how they were tagged: under $30, under $50, $50 to $200, and above $200, with every price converted at rough rates so the bands hold across the US, the UK, Canada and Australia. Each band ranks this season’s boxes by what the contents are worth against the price, which is where the cheap calendar and the luxury one are judged by the same rule.
