Boots' premium calendar for 2025 was a circus-striped red box under the slogan Enjoy the Show, 24 drawers in reds, purples, pinks and gold and behind them 25 products from 24 brands, a skincare-leaning set: Drunk Elephant's 50 ml Protini, Estée Lauder's 100 ml Advanced Night Cleansing Gelée, Fresh's 150 ml Soy Cleanser, a NARS Light Reflecting primer, Caudalie's VinoHydra mask, a 100 ml Aveda leave-in, an Origins GinZing eye cream and a Fenty Beauty Icon lipstick among the full sizes, with MAC, Too Faced, Laneige, Iconic London and a 90 ml Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 76 mist. Boots printed the list with sizes and marked 14 of the 25 as full size; it described the box as 16 full sizes, counting the Sol de Janeiro mist and the Shiseido eye mask.

Our verdict
Fourteen to sixteen full sizes across 24 brands, Drunk Elephant's Protini and Estée Lauder's cleansing gelée among them, every one listed, for 150 GBP against 612. A strong chemist box let down only by how small its two grandest names arrived.
