Drinks by the Dram 12 Dram Whisky Advent Calendar 2026 by the numbers
How each one is countedEvery figure is computed from the record at build time and set against the median of the same season and the same kind of contents. Door price is the price on the box over its doors; the value multiple is what the contents come to at retail over that price; full size is the retailer’s own marking. Where the record cannot support a figure, the page leaves it out rather than guessing. The definitions, one by one →Each figure against the median of this season's alcohol shelf — 51 calendars. Green is the better side of the median, red the worse; the median is printed so you can disagree.

Our Drinks by the Dram 12 Dram Whisky Advent Calendar 2026 review
Our verdict
A strong dozen: Bowmore 15, Laphroaig Lore, Scapa 16, a Redbreast cask finish and both Suntory Distiller's Reserves would cost far more by the bottle, and the Irish, Japanese and American drams keep it from being Scotch only. It is twelve tasters rather than a full Advent.
Reviewed by Max Zeshut · 2026 season · How we review
What works
- All twelve whiskies named in advance
- Bowmore 15, Laphroaig Lore, Redbreast and Yamazaki in one small box
- Scotland, Ireland, Japan and the US covered
What does not
- Twelve days, not the full Advent
- 3 cl tasters at about 6 GBP each
