Franzis's Porsche calendar for 2026 builds a 1:24 scale 911 Turbo in Grand Prix white over 24 days: each door holds the next parts of a multi-piece kit with a metal body that plugs and screws together without glue, and by Christmas Eve the finished model sits on its base with a sound module that plays the engine at the push of a button. The 24 boxes are reversible cardboard and form a large picture on both their front and back.
A large-format companion book, written with the Porsche Museum, walks through the history of the 911 Turbo from 1974 to the present and doubles as the build guide. Released on 31 August 2026.
