About Kalea Beer Advent Calendar The Original 2026
Kalea's beer advent calendar for 2026, The Original, is the Austrian beer box maker's classic: 24 bottles from private, family and monastery breweries, and for the first time the German and Austrian editions share one fill, sold in four looks (wood, Bad Santa, the Santa with a beer glass and the new Rockin' Santa). Kalea publishes the whole line-up: Weltenburger Kloster Pils, Störtebeker United Style Lager, Einbecker Ein Pale Ale, Alpirsbacher Spezial, Rieder IPA, a Schwarzbräu Aged Bock at 8.1% and a Herrnbräu Bad Santa heller Bock among them, from Helles, Pils and Märzen to Zwickel, Kölsch and Weizen.
A tasting glass and a tasting folder with a score sheet come with it. 59.99 EUR at kalea.com as a pre-order, shipping from 12 October 2026.

Our Kalea Beer Advent Calendar The Original 2026 review
Our verdict
Twenty-four beers from small German and Austrian breweries, mostly well made lagers, Pils and Märzen with a Zwickel, a Kölsch, two wheat beers and an 8.1% Doppelbock for contrast. Fair value at 2.50 EUR a bottle, and better for a lager drinker than a hop hunter.
