Lakrids by Bülow's 2026 calendar is a black book-style box with a gold-trimmed Christmas tree on the front, from the Danish liquorice maker founded on Bornholm in 2007. Behind its 24 doors is 345 g of its liquorice, much of it coated in chocolate.
The brand does not itemise the doors. It says the box holds its best-known flavours alongside limited edition treats, about two pieces a door, in white, dulce, milk and dark chocolate over sweet and salty liquorice, gluten and gelatine free, in a fully recyclable box decorated inside and out.

Our verdict
The liquorice calendar people who like liquorice actually want: Bülow's chocolate-coated pieces, a couple a day, with a few limited flavours mixed in. It is a small amount for the money and the brand keeps the list secret, but nothing else on the shelf tastes like it.
