Walker's 2026 shortbread advent calendar is the Aberlour bakery's all-butter alternative to a chocolate box: 24 doors, each with an individually wrapped shortbread, on a new front showing Santa in Walker's tartan passing a snowy village, with a family by the fire inside the lid. The 10.4 oz (294 g) box holds 24 pieces in six shapes: eight thin shortbread fingers, four mini chocolate chip shortbreads, four hearts, three rounds, four salted caramel squares and one star, all baked in Scotland with butter and no artificial flavourings or colourings, suitable for vegetarians and kosher (OUD).

Our verdict
Twenty-four wrapped shortbreads for about 32 USD, eight fingers, four chocolate chip, four hearts, three rounds, four salted caramel squares and a star. It is exactly what it says, good butter shortbread every morning, and the printed mix is honest about how plain most of it is; a shape a day rather than a flavour a day keeps it at three and a half.
