How each one is countedEvery figure is computed from the record at build time and set against the median of the same season and the same kind of contents. Door price is the price on the box over its doors; the value multiple is what the contents come to at retail over that price; full size is the retailer’s own marking. Where the record cannot support a figure, the page leaves it out rather than guessing. The definitions, one by one →Each figure against the median of this season's alcohol shelf — 51 calendars. Our 24 Days of Rum SBS Single Barrel Selection Advent Calendar 2026 review
Our verdict
Unsweetened single-cask rum from two dozen origins is the most serious rum calendar of the season on paper, and the wine-cask finishes add range. The 2 cl bottles are small for the price, and nobody publishes the line-up before December.
Reviewed by Max Zeshut · 2026 season · How we review
What works
- Every dram a single cask, with no added sugar
- Rum origins far beyond the Caribbean: Ghana, Tahiti, Indonesia, Réunion
- Two tasting glasses included
What does not
- 2 cl bottles, smaller than most spirit calendars
- The rums are not named in advance
